Scholarships

Supporting your journey with us

Our scholarships recognise academic excellence, personal achievements, and support students from diverse backgrounds

With a little financial help, your university experience can be more affordable and you can focus on reaching your full potential.

Each year, we award around A$20 million in scholarships to international students. Whether you're just starting or continuing your studies, we want as many students as possible to benefit from a CQUniversity education.

The CQU Scholarship Advantage

In the 2023 International Student Barometer, our students have told us they felt their course is good value for money, placing us well above the Australian university average in this aspect of their student experience.

If you're looking for greater value in scholarship support to take some pressure off your tuition fee from a university with one of the best overall student experience and graduate employment outcomes in the country, then we may just be the perfect choice for you.

Take a look at our fees and scholarship advantage and the potential savings you'll get when you study with us.

The opportunity to be an Australia Awards Scholar has been an exciting yet challenging experience both academically and socially. Upon completion of my studies, I plan to return to my paradise, Papua New Guinea and contribute to improving higher education with ICT as a facilitating tool.
